I recently purchased an original oil by the artist, Syful Islam, from an estate auction in Atlanta, Georgia. There are notations documented on the back, and it states the following:

12%u201D x 18%u201D Oil on Canvas
4/2019.Dhaka
If possible, can you provide me with any information on the value of an original piece of the artist%u2019s work?

I am one of hundreds of students who's lives you have enriched. My father was a diplomat in Dhaka in the early 90s. You taught both my sister and I during those years. Although neither of us pursued art as professions - art seems to have stayed with us through out our lives. We both still paint from time to time. Thank you for this wonderful gift.
